PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost and high-performance cell-handling device in which a plate having a number of micropores is used to handle a large amount of microparticles individually and collectively, thereby facilitating the operations of plate positioning in high accuracy and giving quality-controlled cells.
CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a plate for handling microparticles having standard sides 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20 which mutually cross rectangularly at prescribed distances from the areas 5, 7 where a plurality of micropores are arranged and a couple of holders 6, 8 equipped with standard metal fittings 9, 10, 15, 16 which mutually cross rectangularly. Consequently, when the outward- directing and mutually rectangular crossing standard sides of the plate having the area 5, 7 of micropores are respectively brought into contact with the inward-directing standard metal fittings crossing mutually rectangularly for mutual positioning, the relative positioning of the area of micropores becomes easy with high accuracy.
