Abstract:
PURPOSE: To normally wind a yarn at a high cross-winding speed by providing a yarn supply lever member made of synthetic resin which is reinforced with carbon fibers arranged in the longitudinal direction, and by covering the lever member with a fiber fleece in the tangential direction.
CONSTITUTION: A yarn supply lever member 1 is a follow lever member made of synthetic resin reinforced with carbon fibers which are oriented longitudinally. These longitudinally oriented fibers 2 is covered with a thin fiber fleece cover 3 formed of staples. This cover 3 cooperates with the longitudinally oriented fibers 2 so as to apply an excellent bending strength and an excellent torsion strength to the yarn supply lever member 1. With this arrangement, the surface hardness is appropriate for the wear-resistance of the yarn supply lever member 1, and it is possible to attain normal yarn winding even at a high cross-winding speed.
