To provide a locking/unlocking device high in the degree of freedom concerning the arrangement of two cylinders and capable of achieving double locking in a simple structure.
The locking/unlocking device includes a main cylinder 71a, a dead bolt 72, an auxiliary cylinder 71b and a regulating part 73. While the main cylinder 71a is in a locking position P1 and the dead bolt 72 is in a first advance/retreat position Q1, when the auxiliary cylinder 71b is operated into a restricted position R1, the regulating part 73 is engaged with a shaft passing aperture 72a of the dead bolt 72 to regulate the upward motion of the dead bolt 72 into a second advance/retreat position Q2, and when the auxiliary cylinder 71b is operated into a nonrestricted position R2, the engagement between the regulating part 73 and the dead bolt 72 is released to permit the upward motion of the dead bolt 72 into the second advance/retreat position Q2. As a result, the dead bolt 72 is movable into the second advance/retreat position Q2 through the operation of the main cylinder 71a.
