Abstract:
To provide a composition capable of suppressing precipitation of a crystal under cooling, preventing deterioration with passage of days and keeping storage stability for a long period of time, comprising a specific asymmetric diacyl peroxide and a specific symmetric diacyl peroxide.
This diacyl peroxide composition is composed of (A) 25-95wt.% of 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoyl peroxide, (B) 4.9-50wt.% of an asymmetric diacyl peroxide of formula I (R is a 3-17C primary aliphatic alkyl) and (C) 0.1-25wt.% of a symmetric diacyl peroxide of formula II. For instance, 3,5,5- trimethylhexanoyl-(n)-hexanoyl peroxide, etc., is used as the component B and di-(n)-hexanoyl peroxide, etc., is used as the component C.
