PURPOSE: To achieve a fast visualization of a magnetic field distribution, by a method wherein a superconductor is placed within a magnetic field to detect a magnetic flux distribution and converted into an image to check for quality of a wire pattern of the superconductor.
CONSTITUTION: The principle on which disconnection of a superconductor wiring pattern is detected utilizing a Meissner effect is that when a superconductor 5 (5A, 5B) is placed within a magnetic field of a magnet 4, a line of magnetic force 9 is eliminated as illustrated as not allowed to pass through the superconductor 5. Therefore, there is a difference in a magnetic flux distribution between a normal superconductive wiring pattern 5A and a superconductive wiring pattern 5B having a disconnection 6. This principle is utilized to detect a defect of the pattern from the magnetic flux distribution. To be more specific, electromagnetically induced voltages with the respective superconductors are detected sequentially by voltage detection means individually moving a magnetic field generating means and the superconductors relatively and the magnetic flux distribution is converted into a two-dimensional video applying a computer tomographic video method for a detection value involved, thereby achieving a test for a superconductor wiring pattern and an analysis for deficiency thereof.
