Abstract:
To provide a diaphragm with excellent ion conductivity for alkaline water electrolysis and the production method of the diaphragm.SOLUTION: A diaphragm for alkaline water electrolysis comprises an organic polymer and inorganic particles. The diaphragm for alkaline water electrolysis has the ratio B/A of 1.2 or less with a total amount A of borderline length between inorganic particles and an air gap and a total amount B of borderline length between the inorganic particles and the organic polymer, in a range separated by 0.4a or greater with respect to a width a toward a center from both ends in a longer direction in a cross section perpendicular to a surface of the diaphragm and in a range separated by between 2 μm and 15 μm in a depth direction from the surface of the diaphragm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
