Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize less distortion and high efficiency by employing such a sandwich structure that surface materials are stuck to both surfaces of a core material made of aluminum oxide only for a disphragm for a speaker.

CONSTITUTION: A mixture of aluminum oxide sol and an aqueous solution of water soluble high polymer material is molded in a specific core material shape, and dried and calcinated to obtain the core material 12. Then, the surface materials 13 are stuck to both surfaces of the core material 12 to form the sandwich structure. Consequently, aluminum oxide which has inferior workability and is hard to mold is formed in one body, and the sandwich structure is used as the lightweight core material with high rigidity to obtain the diaphragm for the speaker which high efficiency, less distortion, and a wide frequency range.
