PURPOSE: To enable extrusion molding of a food having a definite center hole, by using a screw rotatable in a cylindrical barrel, attaching a die part having an inner mandrel to the front end of the barrel and extending the mandrel toward the extrusion direction.
CONSTITUTION: The food extruder is composed of a cylindrical barrel 1, a screw 3 rotating in the barrel 1 and a die hole attached to the front end of the barrel 1. The die 4 is provided with an inner mandrel 5 extended toward the extrusion direction. The extension length of the inner mandrel 5 is ≥0.5 times the maximum inner diameter of outer die 4. A food having a central hole of an arbitrary shape can be continuously extrusion molded in high accuracy by changing the cross-sectional shape of the inner mandrel.
