Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin pellets having no irregularity in thickness or size and having cut surfaces uniform in shape with high productivity.
SOLUTION: When the resin strand extruded from a die in a molten state is cooled by cooling water or the like and the cooled strand is cut to obtain resin pellets, the die to be used is characterized in that the number of die nozzles per one row is at least 30 and the shape goes toward a peripheral part from a center part and taper processing of 10-55% with respect to the land length at the center of the die is applied. The resin pellets can be obtained using this die.
