To miniaturize a combustion device for a filter regeneration.
The combustion device 8 for the filter regeneration of a switching type exhaust gas treatment device 1 equipped with at least two filter devices 5 and 6 is provided with a fuel feed system 81, a fuel feed chamber 83 installed between each inlet side of filter devices 5 and 6 and the fuel feed system 81, an air pump 89 for feeding the fuel from the fuel feed system 81 into the fuel feed chamber 83, and one-way valves 87 and 88 for feeding the air mixed fuel from the fuel feed chamber 83 into the corresponding filter devices. The pressure in the fuel feed chamber 83 is set to be higher than the pressure at the inlet side of the filter device in a regenerating mode on the filter device regeneration, and lower than the pressure at the inlet side of the filter device in a collection mode.
