To provide support information for advice easy to be accepted by a target person in dietary advice for improving a dietary habit of the target person in accordance with an object of disease prevention and treatment.
A dietary advice support system comprises: a food information storage means for storing names of foods, food unit quantities, quantities of nutritional components, food categories; standard intake storage means for storing standard intake of nutritional components per unit period; an input means for receiving names of foods to be taken per unit period and a current menu that is a combination of intake for each food; a calculation means for calculating current intake that are total values of the component quantities of the current menu; an extraction means for extracting a combination of foods, as an improved menu, the total values of the component quantities which satisfies the standard intake for each nutritional component and also includes one or more food included in the same food categories as those of the foods consisting of the current menu on the basis of the difference between the standard intake and the current intake; and a display means for displaying an improved intake that are the total values of the component quantities of the improved menu.
