Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce agitation resistance occurring at the time when a differential cage of a differential gear rotates.SOLUTION: A differential gear 10 includes: a drive pinion gear 42 to which power of a propeller shaft 14 is transmitted; a ring gear 43 engaged with the drive pinion gear 42; a differential cage 44 to which the ring gear 43 is fixed; and side gears 45, 46 housed in the differential cage 44, and connected to a drive shaft 15, wherein a cover part 61 surrounds an outer periphery of a drive shaft 15, and is formed so as to cover a convex part 44a projecting to a back face side of a tooth part of the ring gear 43 of the differential cage 44, and its outer shape is formed into a shape of the surface of a rotor with a rotational axis of the drive shaft 15 as a center axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
