Abstract:
To provide the closed type limited slip differential transmission which supplies the pressurized lubricant to a rotating gear and a series of limited slip clutch plates.
The clutch plate is engaged by the action of the pressurized control fluid. A valve assembly with a spool valve responds to the engaging pressure and discharges a part of pressurized fluid from the clutch plate to a sump chamber and a transmission and the waste which is collected on the clutch plate is thereby purged. The spool valve is constituted so that the fluid may pass only during the movement of the middle of the valve, to thereby minimize the pressure loss from the lubricous fluid for transmission and the limited slip clutch.
