The universal joint for pipes includes a base end fixed tube having an annular hooking groove formed in the outer circumference having an approximately tubular shape, a rotary tube formed in an approximately tubular shape, having a flange at one end and externally fitted to the base end fixed tube, a hook section body continuously formed in a tongue shape to the inner periphery side of the flange of the rotary tube and a hooking claw section protruded from the inside of the tip end of the hook section body and hooked in the annular hooking groove in the state of being retained in the groove.
