Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of water repellency by enhancing adhesion of an intermediate coat and a base material and a water repellent coat furthermore, in the diffusion layer for a solid polymer fuel cell where the intermediate coat is interposed in order to enhance adhesion of the base material and water repellent coat.SOLUTION: In a diffusion layer for a solid polymer fuel cell having a water repellent coat formed on the base material surface via an intermediate coat, the intermediate coat is a metal oxide chemically bonded to the base material. A solid polymer fuel cell including the diffusion layer is also provided.
