To enable a still picture to be easily displayed and erased.
A user uses a monitor 4 with a touch panel, which displays an index menu. The user can select a still picture by directly touching the index menu with its finger. Furthermore, the user applies processing such as display and deletion to the selected still picture by directly touching various operation keys displayed on the monitor 4 with the touch panel with its finger.
