To provide a digital composite equipment which can simply and reliably realize a sequential design, in communication between a digital printer, and to provide a control means of a digital scanner unit.
The digital composite equipment is connected so that a reset signal is supplied from a means 62 for generating a signal for resetting of the digital scanner unit. When at least either of the reset signal from the means 52 for resetting the printer or the reset signal from the means 62 for resetting the scanner unit is active, the control means 11 of the digital printer 1 is reset. Thereby, the reset signal from the means 52 of the printer is supplied to the control means 21 of the scanner unit. When at least either of the reset signal from the means 62 for resetting the scanner unit or the reset signal from the means 52 for resetting the printer is active, the control means 21 for the scanner unit 2 is reset.
