Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information reproducing device to optimize time taken for an error correction processing and to reduce power consumption while holding reliability of data in the case of data reproduction from a recording medium.
SOLUTION: In the digital information reproducing device, it is provided with a demodulation means that performs demodulation from a reproduction signal and writes it in a memory, a trigger means that generates a trigger signal to indicate break points of an error correction code, a trigger control means that requests start of the next error correction in the case of input of the trigger signal when no error correction processing is under performance in the case of input of the trigger signal and requests the start of the next error correction when termination of the error correction processing is received when the error correction processing is under performance, an error correction means that performs the error correction processing of memory storage data, a sector processing means that reads the data after the error correction by using the termination of the error correction processing as a sector trigger and performs a processing of the sector, a memory control means that controls requests of the respective means to a memory, an error correcting means and the sector processing means that request the processing to the memory are processed in forms of pipeline.
