This digital online active test power plant protecting system is characterized by that it comprises a TGC 110 generating a test input position bit indicating in which position of a process variable a test input which is an instruction word for starting a test is generated at the present, a TAC 120 receiving inputs of power plant operation variables through a multiplicity of physically and electrically isolated measuring channels when there is a test input by the TGC and determining a trip state by comparison of an operation variable measured value and a predetermined limiting value, a VAC 130 receiving inputs of trip signals of respective power plant operation variables, determining reactor stoppage propriety, and outputting a signal stopping a reactor, and a PRC 140 predicting a signal pattern from a present state of the reactor, comparing it with a reactor stoppage signal, and then if there is a mismatch, ultimately determining a reactor stoppage.
