Title:
DIGITAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, TRANSMITTER, AND RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3475931
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital transmission system which is capable of making a top bit which starts an interleave coincident with a top bit which starts a de-interleave.
SOLUTION: A digital transmission system is equipped with a transmitter 10 which encodes transmission data Ds into external codes through an external code encoder 11, interleaves the external codes through an interleaver 12, and encodes the interleaved external codes into internal codes through an internal code encoder 13; and a receiver 20 which decodes the transmission data into internal codes through an internal code decoder 21, deinterleaves the internal codes through an deinterleaver 22, and decodes the deinterleaved internal codes into external codes through an external code decoder 23 to generate receiving signals. A marker is inserted by a marker generator 14 provided to the transmitter 10 into a prescribed bit of the data block which has been encoded into internal codes, the marker is detected by a marker detector 24 provided to the receiver 20 to generate interleave block pulses Pib, and a leading bit of starting a deinterleave is recognized by the above pulse signals.
