Abstract:
To provide a direct electrifying heating method for heating a plated steel sheet by directly applying electrical current when carrying out hot pressing for example, wherein a trouble in which hot-dip plating is shifted can be solved.
In the direct electrifying heating method, the plated steel sheet 1 is heated by applying the electrical current directly thereto. An auxiliary energizing plate 3 that has side edges 31 extending, while holding an insulating gap 2, to side edges 11 of the plated steel sheet 1 that extend in a direction where the electrical current flows is made flush with the plated steel sheet 1. Then electrical current having the same phase is applied to the plated steel sheet 1 and the auxiliary energizing plate 3.
