To eliminate the generation of drag phenomenon at the time of nonbraking as a cause of the eccentric abrasion of each surface to be braked of a disc rotor without deteriorating the feeling in a disc brake device.

In a disc brake device, pads 12 are arranged in both sides of a disc rotor 11, and a retract spring 13, which energizes a braking surface S12 if each pad 12 in the direction for separating from each surface S11 to be braked of a disc rotor 11, is provided between both the pads 12. In this disc brake device, a part 12a1 of parts of each pad 12 except for the braking surface S12 is made to abut on a part Sa of the disc rotor 11 except for the surface S11 to be freely slid.
