Abstract:
To perfectly prevent the generation of brake judder.
Since a shoe-to-shoe spring 54 is stretched under a parking brake, link 42 of both brake shoes 20, 26, the angular moment in the direction for separating from the inner peripheral surface of a brake drum 12 can be generated in an upper end of the brake shoe 26. Since centering springs 60, 62 are respectively stretched between a lower end of each brake shoe 20, 26 and a backing plate 14, a distance of the brake shoe 20 from an anchor pin 34 can be reduced. Consequently, generation of brake judder can be perfectly prevented.
