Abstract:
To realize a construction which needs a smaller number of part items and can be reduced in size and weight.
A caliper 16 and a pair of pads 27 are slidably supported by support shaft 5 which is supportively fixed to a car body by way of a support bracket 4a. A braking torque exerted on the pads 27 at the time of braking is bearing supported by the support shaft 5. By an engagement of a second sliding bush and a pin 6 which are arranged on tip portions of a second support cross arm 21 fixed to the caliper 16, the caliper 16 is prevented from revolving about the center of the support shaft 5. By supporting the caliper 16 and a pair of pads 27 with one shaft 5, the intended purpose can be attained.
