A mounting member 2 includes a pad guide 15 for elastically supporting a pad 10. The pad 10 includes a return spring 14 for energizing the pad 10 in a direction away from a disc 1. The pad guide 15 includes a regulation part 19 for regulating a movement of the pad 10 in a disc axial line direction of the pad 10. On a bottom face of the regulation part 19, a tapered part 19A is provided which is separated from a lower plate part 16 of the pad guide 15 as getting away from the disc 1. Thus, workability in assembling the pad 10 to the mounting member 2 can be improved.
