Title:
椎間板プロテーゼ
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4410112
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The prosthesis consists of at least three components: an upper plate (1), a lower plate (2) and a core (3) in contact with them. The upper plate is able to move relative to the core, while the core and lower plate are connected to limit or prevent relative movement along an axis parallel to the lower plate or rotational movement about an axis perpendicular to it. This is achieved by means of male and female coupling elements (20, 30) on the lower plate and core. The two plates are set at an angle of 0 - 15[deg] to one another by having a core shaped at an acute angle in an antero-posterior direction. The same plates can also be used with cores of different thicknesses.
