Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the time error of a bit to be recorded on a disc.
CONSTITUTION: The rotational speed of a spindle motor 2 is controlled by an FM detection PLL circuit 8 capable of detecting the rotational-speed deviation of a disc 1 and a spindle servo circuit 6. On the other hand, a PLL circuit 9 using 138MHzVCO is mounted for forming an operation clock CK synchronized with the output clock of the FM detection PLL circuit 8, and a signal processing circuit 10 outputs a write signal while being synchronized with the operation clock CK formed by the PLL circuit 9. Recording to the disc 1 is conducted through a laser power control circuit 11 by the write signal obtained from the signal processing circuit 10.
