Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic resin oriented film having a good flatness (no unevenness and slack), little variation in thickness, and a uniformity in a width direction.
CONSTITUTION: A biaxially-oriented thermoplastic resin film such that the ratio of refractive indicies in directions inclined at ±45° to a film running direction is 1.0 to 1.02 (hereinafter one of these directions of a larger numeric value of each physical property, is referred to as direction a, and the other direction of a smaller value as direction b), the ratio of initial elasticity modulus in direction a to that in direction b is 1.0 to 1.1, and the ratio of breaking elongation in direction a to that in direction b is 1.0 to 1.5.
