Title:
DISCHARGE IONIZATION CURRENT DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012008088
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve the SN ratio of a signal originating from a target component by reducing drift of the signal resulting from electromagnetic noise jumping into an electrode, and ambient temperature fluctuation.

A dummy electrode 11 having the same structure as that of an electrode 10 for ion collection is arranged and installed at a place in a lower part gas passage 14, where only dilution gas not mixed with sample gas flows, and differential detection between an output A of a current amplifier 21 connected to the electrode 10 for ion collection and an output B of a current amplifier 22 connected to the dummy electrode 11 is carried out by a differential amplifier 24. As a result, in-phase noise and drift are removed and a signal corresponding to the amount of a target component can be detected.
