To provide a lubricant evaluation device for evaluating information on lubricating performance of a lubricant such as grease while assuring reproducibility.
The lubricant evaluation device is used for evaluating information on lubricating performance of the lubricant. The lubricant evaluation device comprises: a first circular member 1 and a second circular member 2 which are rotatably arranged in contact with each other; a driving unit for rotationally driving at least one of the first circular member 1 and the second circular member 2; and a groove 12 formed at least over the whole outer circumference 11 of the first circular member 1, and containing the lubricant that lubricates the contact portion between the first circular member 1 and the second circular member 2. An outer circumferential surface 21 of the second circular member 2 is formed in contact with a bottom face 13 of the groove 12.
