Abstract:
To identify the kind of a battery pack while ensuring the strength.
When this battery pack 10 is packed into a battery housing part 14, a discriminating switch 28 is turned to an on condition, the switch 28 is left in an off condition when a battery pack 12 is packed, and an apparatus 1 identifies thereby as to which kind of battery pack is packed. Since the battery pack 10 is formed to be different from the battery pack 12 in its shape, the kind of the battery pack is specified by a bulging part provided at an outer face of the battery pack 10.
