Title:
DISCRIMINATING METHOD FOR ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING FLUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3434648
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate concentration of electric discharge machining fluid mixing powder and a mixing degree of cutting chips or the like, quickly and inexpensively by a simple method.
SOLUTION: An electric discharge machining fluid of oiliness mixing a known amount of powder of a plurality of kinds is gathered in a vessel, a second liquid in a relation not soluble in this electric discharge machining fluid, for instance and almost equal amount of water, is added, to be a sample. Next, an actual electric discharge machining fluid 3 is gathered in a vessel 1, water is added similarly as the sample, to be simultaneously stirred with the sample. An amount, size and color of a bubble 7, generated in a phase of water 5 after prescribed time, are compared with the sample, to discriminate concentration of powder and a mixing degree of cutting chips or the like.
