Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a disilane-contg. organopolysiloxane which has curing groups, can be formed into a film at a low temp., has a high hardness, does not allow cracks due to vol. shrinkage occuring at a high temp., and is heat- resistant.
CONSTITUTION: This disilane-contg. organopolysiloxane is represented by the formula: [R1aSi(OR2)bO(4-a-b)/2]m[-R1cSi2(OR2)(6-c-d)/2]n (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or an optionally subtd. monovalent hydrocarbon group; (a), (b), (c), and (d) are each an integer satisfying 0≤a≤2, 0≤b≤3, 0≤c≤3, 0<d<6, 0≤a+b<4, and 0<c+d<6, and (m) and (n) are each a number satisfying 0≤m≤0.9, 0.1≤n≤1, and m+n+1).
