PURPOSE: To prepare a disinfectant detergent composition useful as a hair shampoo or rinse, having improved solubility in water and excellent effect to prevent dandruff, and free from ill odor, by mixing bis(2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide) zinc and an imidazoline-type amphoteric surface active agent, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The titled composition is prepared by mixing and dissolving (A) an imidazoline-type amphoteric surface active agent of formula [R is alkyl or alkenyl; X is COOM, CH2COOM (M is H, alkali metal, or ammonium), Y is H, CH2COOM, etc.] or an alkyldi(aminoethyl)glycine hydrochloride of its alkali metal salt to (B) bis(2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide) zinc. The addition of the compound of formula, etc. improves the solubility, and hence the adhesivity to the skin and the disinfection effect of the bis(2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide) zinc which is a dandruff- preventing agent, and reduces the amount of the agent to be used.
