Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a finalization processing time after information data is recorded in a recording medium requiring finalization processing.
SOLUTION: A recording region in which information data is recorded and a region which is predicted to become an unrecorded region after completion of recording of information data and in which finalization is performed are calculated based on a recording time of information data, recording of information data in the calculated recording region of information data and finalization processing in which the prescribed dummy data is recorded in a region which is separated from the calculated recording region of information data by the prescribed distance and in which finalization processing is performed are repeated alternately, after recording of information data is finished and a recording region of the information data is decided, the prescribed dummy data is recorded in a residual unfinalized region of the recording medium and finalization processing is performed.
