Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute high density recording which is capable of exact additional recording by a simple constitution, by providing a reference track on the outside of an information recording area, and outputting a tracking signal by which an information signal track becomes parallel to the reference track. CONSTITUTION:A reference track 2 in which a rotation reference signal 4 is recorded is provided on a prescribed position outside of an information recording area 3 of a disk 1, and in accordance with tracking information from this track 2, a head position is controlled, and an information recording track 3' of the area 3 becomes parallel to the track 2 even if the disk 1 is varied by a temperature, etc. Accordingly, a guide groove, etc. of each track become unnecessary, and high density recording, which is also capable of exact additional recording, can be exectued by a simple constitution.
