Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize the recording on the surface of a sheet-like recording medium and/or the contact condition of a reproducing head by fixing a pair of parallel sheet-like recording media up and down to a hub and ring under the state of an initial tension. CONSTITUTION:The titled disk is composed of a hub 13 having a hub hole 12 in its center, a ring 14 disposed in a concentric circle to the outer circumference of the hub 13 but apart from the hub 13 and a pair of upper and lower and parallel magnetic sheets 15 as the sheet-like recording media fixed respectively up and down to the hub 13 and ring 14 under the state of an initial tension. By this method, the pair of upper and lower magnetic sheets 15 exhibit a parallel flat spring effect, so that the pair of upper and lower magnetic sheets 15 are always automatically restored to their parallel condition. Moreover, by a centrifugal force at the time of driving the disk 11 to rotate, the above- mentioned restoration to their parallel condition is encouraged, so that the pair of upper and lower magnetic sheets 15 at the time of rotating the disk 11 are stabilized under approximately parallel condition to an extent of their outer circumferential parts.
