Abstract:
To provide a dispersing agent for suspension polymerization which can yield a vinyl-based resin which has excellent plasticizer absorption and which contains a less amount of remaining monomers, a few fisheyes and a few coarse particles.
The dispersing agent for suspension polymerization comprises a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin which possesses ionicity in the side chain and/or the terminal and which has a saponification degree of 70 mol% or less such that the saponification degree and its block character satisfy a specific relationship.
