Title:
DISPERSION ESTIMATING METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL DELAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3570572
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize easy measurement in a short time by rearranging a wave source image, reproduced from an interference data, in a three-dimensional space and then determining the mean and standard deviation of delay based on the attenuation and delay corresponding to the distance between an arbitrary position and each wave source.
CONSTITUTION: A radiator 12 radiates radio waves having frequencies f1, f2, as a first order wave source, into an objective room 11. An observation plane 13 is located at a position where the radiator 12 and an electromagnetic field space to be estimated can be observed and the radio waves are received by a scan antenna 14 located at each point on the plane 13 and a fixed antenna 15. The received radio waves are processed and operated at a hologram operating section 35 to produce an interference data. The propagation delay time of a wave source image, reproduced using a two-dimensional interference data being measured, is then determined with respect to the wave radiated from the radiator 12 based on the phase of the wave source. Furthermore, each wave source is rearranged in a three-dimensional space using the reproduced wave source image, the propagation delay time, and the phase of a wave source observed at the frequency to be estimated. The means and standard deviation of delay are determined based on the delay and attenuation corresponding to the distance between a receiving point to be evaluated and each wave source.
