Title:
EXCAVATOR WITH VIBRATIONPROOF DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3570573
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce vibrations and noises, to lengthen lifetime and to inhibit the abrasion wear of an excavation bit.
CONSTITUTION: A damper 16 is installed between a feed means 13 and a rotational driving means 14, and the vibrations of an air hammer drill are absorbed by the damper 16. Consequently, the vibrations of the air hammer drill transmitted to a frame 12 and the feed means 13 are relaxed. The quantity of compressed air fed to the damper 16 is adjusted in response to the variation of its own weight of the air hammer drill, thus adjusting the resilient force of the damper 16. Accordingly, the bit load of the air hammer drill is controlled easily.
