To provide a displacement suppression device capable of easily returning an object to an initial position.SOLUTION: A displacement suppression device 9 that suppresses relative displacement between a first object 105 and a second object 107 in a predetermined direction has a transmission member 11 and a restoring force generation unit 15. The transmission member 11 is connected to the first object 105 rotatably around a first rotation axis A1 orthogonal to the predetermined direction. Also, the transmission member 11 is connected to the second object 107 rotatably around a second rotation axis A2 parallel to the first rotation axis A1. Also, the transmission member 11 allows the first rotation axis A1 to approach and separate from the second rotation axis A2.
