Abstract:
To provide a material which can suitably be used for a catalyst etc. such as an oxygen reduction catalyst.SOLUTION: A production method of a nitrogen-containing carbon material with reduced defect content includes a step of irradiating a nitrogen-containing carbon material having a G-band peak in the Raman spectrum with a microwave in atmosphere including ammonia and/or amine. And furthermore, a modification method of the nitrogen-containing carbon material includes a step of irradiating the nitrogen-containing carbon material having the G-band peak in the Raman spectrum with the microwave in atmosphere including ammonia and/or amine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
