PURPOSE: To easily and securely adjust the position of the photodetection part of the displacement gauge and to improve the measurement accuracy by fixing a holding member which is mounted on a main body by the fitting of fitting means to the main body by a fixing member.
CONSTITUTION: The holding member 3 has a projection part 32 and the sensor head main body 4 is equipped with a recessed part 34. Then the projection part 32 and recessed part 34 are so formed as to engage each other as the fitting means. The projection part 32 is fitted in the recessed part 34 to mount the holding part 3 on the sensor head main body 4. The sensor head main body 4 is fixed to a jig by clamping both ends of the holding member 3 with a bolt pressing part and a spring pressing part and pressing them. The holding member 3 can easily be held at a desired position and never shifts in fixation position. Consequently, the position of the photodetection part of the displacement gauge can easily and securely be adjusted and the measurement accuracy can be improved.
