Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement measurement device and a material testing machine capable of smoothly performing the connection of a measurement value in the case of switching an output from the output of a displacement meter with high resolution to the output of a displacement meter with low resolution.SOLUTION: A displacement measurement device 40 includes: a counter 71 for counting a signal from a small displacement meter 60; a determination part 72 for determining whether or not the count value of the counter 71 is larger than a preliminarily set threshold; an adjustment signal generation part 73 for generating and outputting an adjustment signal for adjusting a timing for switching an output from the output from the displacement measurement device 40 to a control part 23 to the output from the small displacement meter 60 to a large displacement meter 50; a switching signal generation part 74 for generating and outputting a switching signal in the timing of the adjustment signal from the adjustment signal generation part 73 input after an input from the determination part 72; and a switching part 77 for receiving an output from the switching signal generation part 74, and for switching an output from the output of the displacement measurement device 40 to the output from the small displacement meter 60 to the large displacement meter 50.
