Abstract:

To make it possible to display a stereoscopic image for a plurality of viewers without degrading the resolution.

Five projectors 63-1 to 63-5 located at positions forming a similar positional form to those at which five different cameras are placed project images photographed by the cameras to a screen 101. The lights projected onto the screen 101 are refracted by passing through a cylindrical lens array of the screen 101 to provide an image with parallax viewed from users 120 corresponding to the positions of the projectors 63-1 to 63-5, that is, a stereoscopic image. This invention is applicable to television receivers.
