The display control device comprises a display control circuit for controlling the display device in accordance with commands inputted from a plurality of input devices. When a picture area controlled by another input device is set, the display control circuit deletes a picture area controlled by a prescribed input device without turning off a power supply of the display device in accordance with a prescribed command inputted from the prescribed input device out of a plurality of input devices, and when the picture area controlled by the other input device is not set, controls the display device so as to turn off the power supply of the display device.
