To provide a print order acceptance device which enables a user to quickly perform operation for ordering photographic prints of digital images recorded in a recording medium and enables print order acceptance to be efficiently performed.
The device has; a read means for reading image data of images recorded in the recording medium; a display device for displaying images; an input means for inputting an order for prints of images recorded in the recording medium; a first processing system for displaying images read by the read means on the display device and using the display images to receive an order indication from the input means and generating order information; and a second processing system for storing image data read by the read means in a storage means in parallel with processing in the first processing system. Order information generated by the first processing system and image data stored in the storage means by the second processing system are correlated with each other and outputted.
