A display device (1) comprising: an environment detection unit (11) that detects a first environmental parameter for each area obtained by dividing a living space into a plurality of areas; at least one display unit (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d); a display mode specification unit (113) that specifies a display mode of the at least one display unit (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) on the basis of first environmental information indicating the first environmental parameter of each of the plurality of areas detected by the environment detection unit (11); and a display control unit (114) that controls the at least one display unit (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) to become the display mode specified by the display mode specification unit (113).
