Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: A display device includes: a display unit that has pixels arranged in a matrix, and displays an image corresponding to a plurality of viewing points; a parallax adjustment unit that is arranged at a position facing the display unit, has a plurality of control units including a plurality of electrodes, and assigns light of each pixel to each viewing point in accordance with an electric charge to be given to the plurality of electrodes consisting of each control unit; a parallax control unit that changes the number of electrodes consisting of the control unit or position thereof on the basis of external information; and a display control unit that changes the number of adjacent pixels displaying the image corresponding to each viewing point on the basis of the external information.SOLUTION: To provide a display device, electronic instrument and control method of the display device that can display optimum images for each viewing point relative to a change in viewing point position in forward and backward directions to a display surface of the display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
