To provide a display device for a vehicle which has high visibility for each driver even though a field of vision of the driver varies.
The display device for the vehicle equipped with a display part for displaying information to the driver changes an area of a display region 10a for displaying the information in a display 10 according to the field of vision of the driver with respect to the display 10. Accordingly, the area of the display region 10a for displaying the information according to the field of vision of the driver is changed in the display 10. Thus, the information can be properly displayed to each driver without being blocked by an obstacle such as a steering 60 even though the field of vision of the driver varies depending on, for example, a physical size of the driver, a seat position in which the driver sits, or the like, thereby enhancing visibility.
